All of you are the children of God, through faith, in Christ Jesus, since every one of you that has been baptized has been clothed in Christ. There can be neither Jew nor Greek, there can be neither slave nor free, there can be neither male nor female -- for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Galatians 3:26-28
Social Justice/Outreach Circle
We received lovely thank you notes from the Under the Bridge Ministry to the homeless for our toilet paper donation and from the Wauwatosa Food Pantry for the food donations.
With the cold weather coming, needs will likely increase for both.

LUTB also has other needs including folks to help prepare bagged dinners.  Check out the Divine Intervention page at  Pastor Karen has sent us a note expressing a welcome to partner with them in this outreach ministry in any way we can.  If you know of ways for our community to help those in need, please let me know. Thank you to Joe and Mary and Tony and Jean for their delivery ministries and to all who have contributed!  Jane tells us that the prison book ministry has met its current needs.  I am wondering if there are impoverished inner city classrooms whose children don't have story books for them to read.  Does anyone have any ideas about that as a way to continue the book ministry?
